ABOUT AMWA NORTHERN CALIFORNIA

The American Medical Writers Association Northern California chapter includes AMWA members in northern California, part of Nevada, and Hawaii. We have Chapter events roughly quarterly, and we work with the Pacific Southwest Chapter to host the Pacific Coast Conference.

We elect officers to serve on our Board of Directors annually, with terms beginning in the Fall. Chapter members vote in Officer elections. If you are interesting in running for an Officer position, please contact any member of the board, or email the board as a group.

Our members are often referred to as "medical writers," but the scope of our skills more properly describes us as biomedical communicators.
